Possibly the Next Madeon? M4SONIC – Virus (Live Launchpad Original)
We were pretty impressed by this video just released earlier today of Electronic/Dubstep producer, M4SONIC. The video features a live recording of M4SONIC composing an original titled ‘Virus‘ over TWO Launchpads.
He uses his right hand to construct most of the melodies while firing percussion samples with the left. Big ups to M4SONIC on this, we’ll definitely keep our eye on future releases.
EDIT: He did this in USER 1 Mode! This means the samples are not quantized/synced on beat, but instead are fired live as the pads are pressed. This differs from the Trigger setting commonly used (ex: Madeon).

I would not say the next Madeon. Perhaps a contender to Madeon absolutely. This is in a sense quite a bit different than Madeon. Much more the style I like.

Is this really in User 1 mode with no quantizing? If so have you had to take any measure to ensure stable sample triggering without unexpected lag?
